After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Axel Eickhaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. BVBx09's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Eickhaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finn Käppeler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes ErikSiege got a freekick which was hit by Torger Hanke. Noel Optendrenk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Optendrenk in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimund Diebitsch saved BVBx09 from getting behind. With an all-out effort, ErikSiege's Raimund Diebitsch threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noel Optendrenk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the game, Werner Portmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BVBx09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ErikSiege the free kick. The supporters of ErikSiege booed when BVBx09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Portmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otfried Heine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimund Diebitsch having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Pentz was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Otfried Heine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimund Diebitsch was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 65th minute Noel Optendrenk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimund Diebitsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Otfried Heine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ErikSiege's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otfried Heine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 73rd minute of the match Werner Portmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Werner Portmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 74 played minutes, ErikSiege's Torger Hanke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimund Diebitsch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ErikSiege reached it. If Morten Ronge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otfried Heine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in BVBx09 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Raimund Diebitsch went to the wrong direction when Torger Hanke was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Raimund Diebitsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Optendrenk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otfried Heine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Raimund Diebitsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otfried Heine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimund Diebitsch having to interfere. When Noel Optendrenk came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ErikSiege fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Optendrenk couldn't finish the play. Raimund Diebitsch came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by ErikSiege's Otfried Heine. But to his dismay, Otfried Heine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nils Pentz managed to get in a good position for a shot. BVBx09's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Pentz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finn Käppeler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ErikSiege were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
