Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabian Kern took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Eidur Neuhausen got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ali Murat Hartleitner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Padberg FSV's Oliver Bolle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Kern in the 17th minute of play. Florian Lasotta's late challenge caught a FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Lasotta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß booed when Padberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Lasotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Kern in the 19th minute of play forced Padberg FSV's goalkeeper Oliver Bolle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Padberg FSV booed when FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johann Jastrzembowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Burgschmidt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heinrich Götze firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zenobio Born in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heinrich Götze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hubert Burgschmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Heinrich Götze made a huge save. Padberg FSV's Zenobio Born got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Murat Hartleitner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florian Lasotta kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fabian Kern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenobio Born to make the kick off. Eidur Neuhausen kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Hubert Burgschmidt came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Padberg FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Burgschmidt couldn't finish the play. After 57 minutes of play, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Fabian Kern made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Bolle was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Heinrich Götze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Burgschmidt in the 61st minute of play. Oliver Bolle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Kern in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Padberg FSV's goalkeeper Oliver Bolle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß were furious when Wilhelm Bugiel was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 71 minutes into the game, one of FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 78 minutes, Eidur Neuhausen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eidur Neuhausen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leo Rasper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Eidur Neuhausen got a free kick in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Zenobio Born put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Heinrich Götze. After a defensive mix-up in Padberg FSV's zone, Ali Murat Hartleitner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Bolle came out of the goal and Ali Murat Hartleitner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Eidur Neuhausen got a free kick in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Padberg FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
