Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Koln 90's Michael Hock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes in the game, Michael Hock fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raimund Diebitsch having to interfere. Raimund Diebitsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Hock in the 7th minute of the match. Nils Pentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Webermann having to interfere. Christopher Winternagel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nils Pentz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Pentz in the 20th minute of play forced Koln 90's goalkeeper Sebastian Webermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Endrik Gabler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Nils Pentz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastian Webermann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute Michael Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimund Diebitsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Axel Eickhaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils Pentz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sebastian Webermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Axel Eickhaus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Webermann was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Pentz in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Webermann saved Koln 90 from getting behind. Raimund Diebitsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Hock in the 38th minute of the match. Sebastian Webermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Pentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Pentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Pentz to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Nils Pentz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BVBx09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Pentz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nils Pentz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Webermann was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Sebastian Webermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Pentz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of BVBx09 booed when Koln 90 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermann Kremmeter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, BVBx09's Christopher Winternagel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sebastian Webermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Pentz in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BVBx09's zone, Christian Remer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimund Diebitsch came out of the goal and Christian Remer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BVBx09's Raimund Diebitsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Remer in the 88th minute of play. Werner Portmann struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sebastian Webermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVBx09.
