Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marinus Stenz got the match started through his kick off. If Anatol Altmüller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hohenschmark FC's Erhard Ehrlich suffered a sore thigh after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 4 minutes into the game, Henry Korbel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heskem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hohenschmark FC the free kick. The supporters of Hohenschmark FC booed when Heskem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Korbel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Pfeifer's late challenge caught a Heskem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Pfeifer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hohenschmark FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dennis Pfeifer hit a great ball. Jakob Nilßon came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Heskem's Anatol Altmüller. But to his dismay, Anatol Altmüller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gregor Altmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kay Rudinsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erich Hartwig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erich Hartwig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Rudinsky having to interfere. Gregor Altmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Rudinsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregor Altmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregor Altmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Rudinsky having to interfere. During the 37th minute of the match Henry Korbel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Henry Korbel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 38 played minutes Heskem got a freekick which was hit by Henry Korbel. 45 minutes into the game, Hohenschmark FC's Gregor Altmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kay Rudinsky made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erich Hartwig to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Erich Hartwig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hohenschmark FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erich Hartwig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kay Rudinsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kay Rudinsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Pfeifer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kay Rudinsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Altmann in the 67th minute of the match. Marinus Stenz's late challenge caught a Hohenschmark FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marinus Stenz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute of the match Reinhold Ralf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kay Rudinsky showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Heskem getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Tord Kobitzki hit a great ball. Kay Rudinsky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erich Hartwig's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Marinus Stenz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Jakob Nilßon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Erich Hartwig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hohenschmark FC had played much better football throughout.
