The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC HARZ THALE booed when Huntlosen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kassian Blumenstiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Krämer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute, Kees Hofrichter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasso Schabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cees Eckhardt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moritz Gramminger was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Hubert Jeske fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Gramminger having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Hofrichter in the 36th minute of play forced Huntlosen's goalkeeper Moritz Gramminger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moritz Gramminger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kees Hofrichter's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Moritz Gramminger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Jeske in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasso Schabert in the 43rd minute of play forced Huntlosen's goalkeeper Moritz Gramminger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huntlosen's goalkeeper Moritz Gramminger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Rehbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Volkmer having to interfere.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Euschen during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC HARZ THALE's Kevin Euschen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Volker Volkmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Krämer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Huntlosen's Wim Thun got a free kick in the 60th minute. The FC HARZ THALE fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when FC HARZ THALE's Hasso Schabert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Hubert Jeske recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cees Eckhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Gramminger having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Hubert Jeske cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Moritz Gramminger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hubert Jeske who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Moritz Gramminger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute Kees Hofrichter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Gramminger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cees Eckhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Moritz Gramminger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kees Hofrichter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kees Hofrichter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC HARZ THALE's Volker Volkmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Rehbach in the 93rd minute of play. Gunnar Lutze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Gramminger having to interfere. When the match was over FC HARZ THALE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Huntlosen throughout the match.
