Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hubert Bulling took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hubert Bulling ran back to his position shaking his head. Hubert Bulling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durs Tritz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hubert Bulling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carolinensiel FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Bulling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durs Tritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Bosch in the 11th minute of play forced Güstelitz FSV's goalkeeper Durs Tritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Güstelitz FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Bulling came free, but Durs Tritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephan Bosch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durs Tritz having to make a save. Durs Tritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feridun Löber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tillmann Münst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Herrmann Kipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Ned Maier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ned Maier to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert Bulling in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durs Tritz saved Güstelitz FSV from getting behind. Feridun Löber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Altmeier's late challenge caught a Carolinensiel FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larry Altmeier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Larry Altmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Stephan Bosch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carolinensiel FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephan Bosch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 65th minute, Hubert Bulling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Durs Tritz. The goal made the score 0-1. If Hubert Bulling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 minutes of play, Carolinensiel FSV's Hubert Bulling made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durs Tritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Eric Huber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güstelitz FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carolinensiel FSV the free kick. Eric Huber kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Güstelitz FSV's Tillmann Münst got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Herrmann Kipp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tillmann Münst in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Ned Maier notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Carolinensiel FSV's Herrmann Kipp. Herrmann Kipp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Stephan Bosch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Carolinensiel FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Altmeier came free, but Herrmann Kipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durs Tritz was a little too slow when Viktor Graumünz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-3.
