Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berthold Walden in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamil Dziersan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonito Wald in the 14th minute of play forced Hinterettenberg's goalkeeper Harry Jagenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Amedspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jürgen Nolte to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, Amedspor's Ezzo Plate shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harry Jagenburg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kamil Dziersan as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Amedspor's Bonito Wald got a free kick in the 25th minute. Kamil Dziersan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 32 minutes, Berthold Walden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hinterettenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berthold Walden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Erwin Jendretzky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Harry Jagenburg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bonito Wald went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonito Wald was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Jendretzky in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamil Dziersan saved Amedspor from getting behind.
