Thanks to some nice moves Erik Nikolai could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Helko Felchle however easily saved by the left post. Helko Felchle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Hörter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anton Schmettau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dariusz Steffel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Schmettau in the 14th minute of the match. Achim Mertgen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dariusz Steffel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Anton Schmettau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Stendal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Schmettau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fynn Schikowsky's late challenge caught a FSV Stendal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fynn Schikowsky helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Heidesiedlung getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fynn Schikowsky hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Eduard Kuhn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dariusz Steffel skillfully saved the ball. Dariusz Steffel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Schmettau went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anton Schmettau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Steffel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Helko Felchle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Nikolai in the 31st minute. In the 36th match minute, Heidesiedlung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fynn Schikowsky to maneuver through the defense. Anton Schmettau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dariusz Steffel having to make a save. When Achim Mertgen came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the FSV Stendal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achim Mertgen couldn't finish the play. Heidesiedlung's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 43rd minute of the game, when Sigmund Tamm after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of FSV Stendal's goal. Sigmund Tamm was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Helko Felchle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Hörter in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Hörter to strike the kick off in the second half. Fynn Schikowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dariusz Steffel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Schmettau, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Anton Schmettau struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dariusz Steffel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSV Stendal. Anton Schmettau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Steffel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Heidesiedlung's zone, Anton Schmettau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Steffel came out of the goal and Anton Schmettau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helko Felchle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Hörter, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Anton Schmettau managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Stendal's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Schmettau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Steffel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Grobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Dariusz Steffel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Heidesiedlung fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FSV Stendal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
