Hartmut Hardel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nikolai Behm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Marvin Deicke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamscheid FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Torino the free kick. San Torino's Josip Wissler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Gebert in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Nagler made a kick off. Konrad Blaschko kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hartmut Hardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Pascal Pawlowitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josip Wissler. San Torino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Pawlowitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fritz Ernst Neubauer didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Lamscheid FSV's Fritz Ernst Neubauer got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nino Gebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dieter Jerat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hartmut Hardel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
