Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC JOJO's Uwe Anmerker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uwe Anmerker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Scheiler's late challenge caught a FC JOJO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Scheiler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Hinterettenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Scheiler to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hinterettenberg's zone, Egon Schnelle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Jagenburg came out of the goal and Egon Schnelle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erwin Jendretzky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Börje Feige made a huge save. FC JOJO's Börje Feige played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berthold Walden in the 13th minute of play. When Uwe Anmerker came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC JOJO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uwe Anmerker couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hinterettenberg's Kim Mevenkamp got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Egon Schnelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC JOJO's supporters rose to their feet, but Egon Schnelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Jagenburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Hinterettenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Stephan Krippels to maneuver through the defense. When Reinhold Aigner fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hinterettenberg's protests and gave Reinhold Aigner a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hinterettenberg! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for FC JOJO. Hartwig Osterholt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harry Jagenburg. 0-1. Uwe Anmerker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Jendretzky succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 30 minutes, Ulf Rohe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC JOJO and the Hinterettenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC JOJO's Ulf Rohe got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Berthold Walden came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hinterettenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berthold Walden couldn't finish the play. Erwin Jendretzky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Börje Feige tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Feige made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthold Walden in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Berthold Walden made the kick off in the second half. If Egon Schnelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Sigi Doetsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Kim Trabold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Feige saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hinterettenberg's Harry Jagenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Anmerker in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Berthold Walden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börje Feige was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
