Fortuna Selbach's Fabian Skrotzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Jendretzky in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Hinterettenberg's Berthold Walden made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Skrotzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hinterettenberg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Dennis Erhard scored to the left of an out of position Harry Jagenburg, making the score, 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Erwin Jendretzky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hinterettenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwin Jendretzky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berthold Walden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hinterettenberg's Erwin Jendretzky got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Skrotzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Jendretzky in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Berthold Walden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinterettenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Berthold Walden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Skrotzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Berthold Walden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hinterettenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berthold Walden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erwin Jendretzky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Skrotzki having to interfere. When Reinhold Aigner came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hinterettenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinhold Aigner couldn't finish the play. Fabian Skrotzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berthold Walden in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berthold Walden to strike the kick off in the second half. When Stefan Wittke fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna Selbach's protests and gave Stefan Wittke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Fortuna Selbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Wittke to maneuver through the defense. Fortuna Selbach's Fabian Skrotzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Fortuna Selbach from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berthold Walden in the 72nd minute of play forced Fortuna Selbach's goalkeeper Fabian Skrotzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Jagenburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Erhard's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Ernesto Löber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erwin Jendretzky got free with Fabian Skrotzki in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Skrotzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Jendretzky in the 84th minute of the match. Berthold Walden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute of the match Kim Trabold shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Skrotzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fortuna Selbach were furious when Eusebius Henneke was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fortuna Selbach fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Fabian Skrotzki went to the wrong direction when Kim Trabold was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Hinterettenberg's Berthold Walden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Skrotzki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Berthold Walden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Fabian Skrotzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Hinterettenberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fortuna Selbach throughout the match.
