The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Bartel was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Nikolai got free with Ahmet Korcan Kultigin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Heidesiedlung's Charles Hörter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Korcan Kultigin. That made the score 1-1 after 53 minutes of play. Hark Girnus charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hark Girnus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mathias Bartel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Steffel having to interfere.
