Heidesiedlung's Dariusz Steffel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Meinhardt in the 3rd minute of play. Keven Mahler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Steffel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Dariusz Steffel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keven Mahler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Hörter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Ignatius Fischbach managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Heidesiedlung's Erik Nikolai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Will Meinhardt fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lok Lübeck's protests and gave Will Meinhardt a yellow card for diving instead. Will Meinhardt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dariusz Steffel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Hillenbrand in the 29th minute of play. In the 40th minute Dieter Blumentritt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Steffel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keven Mahler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keven Mahler in the 48th minute of play forced Heidesiedlung's goalkeeper Dariusz Steffel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keven Mahler made a kick off. Heidesiedlung's Charles Hörter got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Heidesiedlung got a freekick which was hit by Arno Fackler. Keven Mahler might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dariusz Steffel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keven Mahler ran back to his position shaking his head. Fynn Schikowsky kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Fynn Schikowsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Manuel Krapf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heidesiedlung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Krapf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Lok Lübeck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Meinhardt to maneuver through the defense. Keven Mahler struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Dariusz Steffel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lok Lübeck. Keven Mahler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
