When Keven Mahler came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Lok Lübeck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keven Mahler couldn't finish the play. When Manuel Krapf fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heidesiedlung's protests and gave Manuel Krapf a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Heidesiedlung getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Manuel Krapf hit a great ball. A hard shot by Matthias Jungbauer from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Dariusz Steffel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Heidesiedlung's Dariusz Steffel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keven Mahler in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Heidesiedlung getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arno Fackler hit a great ball. If Bertram Hillenbrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Heidesiedlung's Fynn Schikowsky got a free kick in the 18th minute. Keven Mahler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Steffel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Fynn Schikowsky hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Erik Nikolai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Fischbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertram Hillenbrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Steffel having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Erik Nikolai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heidesiedlung fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Bertram Hillenbrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lok Lübeck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Hillenbrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertram Hillenbrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Steffel having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Keven Mahler rounded Heidesiedlung's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. If Keven Mahler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertram Hillenbrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertram Hillenbrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Steffel having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keven Mahler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lok Lübeck booed when Heidesiedlung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fynn Schikowsky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertram Hillenbrand hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Charles Hörter fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ignatius Fischbach, passed just outside the right post. Will Meinhardt hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dariusz Steffel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keven Mahler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keven Mahler in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dariusz Steffel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keven Mahler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Steffel having to interfere. Keven Mahler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dariusz Steffel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Keven Mahler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dariusz Steffel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Heidesiedlung booed when Lok Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Hillenbrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Steffel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Hillenbrand in the 84th minute of the match. Keven Mahler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keven Mahler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dariusz Steffel having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Lok Lübeck players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
