Lok Lübeck's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Lok Lübeck's Keven Mahler in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Keven Mahler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Fortuna Selbach's Fabian Skrotzki got control of the ball when Will Meinhardt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Lok Lübeck's Bertram Hillenbrand made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Skrotzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bertram Hillenbrand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Skrotzki when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keven Mahler to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Fortuna Selbach's Dennis Erhard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ignatius Fischbach made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Stefan Wittke sent off a good shot on target. Udo Kranz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Stefan Wittkes short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Ignatius Fischbach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dennis Erhard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatius Fischbach having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Fortuna Selbach's goal looked a bit too open when Keven Mahler came free, but Fabian Skrotzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Fortuna Selbach got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Löber. Bertram Hillenbrand struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fabian Skrotzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lok Lübeck. Lok Lübeck's Eugen Pluhm suffered a sprained foot after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 77 minutes, Udo Kranz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortuna Selbach and the Lok Lübeck players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Fortuna Selbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Udo Kranz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Will Meinhardt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Skrotzki was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Bertram Hillenbrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Hillenbrand in the 92nd minute of play forced Fortuna Selbach's goalkeeper Fabian Skrotzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Bertram Hillenbrand made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Skrotzki. Fortuna Selbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Lok Lübeck players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
