If Rappo Ottmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Seiler's late challenge caught a Ohlenhard FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Seiler helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Seiler kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Rappo Ottmar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alfons Doetsch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jens Reb fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Helmeringhausen's protests and gave Jens Reb a yellow card for diving instead. Jens Reb kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Ohlenhard FSV got a freekick which was hit by Rouven Neumann. Alfons Doetsch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rappo Ottmar's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Tommy Werner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benno Morgenroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oka Herbst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Werner made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gretel Lindenthal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ohlenhard FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gretel Lindenthal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Doetsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Ohlenhard FSV's goalkeeper Tommy Werner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oka Herbst. 41 minutes into the game, Birger Blome was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Helmeringhausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ohlenhard FSV the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Birger Blome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rouven Neumann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfons Doetsch. Helmeringhausen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Gretel Lindenthal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alfons Doetsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benno Morgenroth in the 60th minute of play forced Ohlenhard FSV's goalkeeper Tommy Werner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Oka Herbst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Werner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rappo Ottmar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfons Doetsch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Rappo Ottmar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Alfons Doetsch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfons Doetsch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rappo Ottmar's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Adrian Seiler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Ohlenhard FSV's Gretel Lindenthal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfons Doetsch. Graciano Fazio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Oka Herbst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tommy Werner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfons Doetsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gretel Lindenthal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
