In the 21st minute, Ditmar Ehrmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Tanna's goalkeeper Burkhard Ruge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Titus Kunstwadl. If Nikolaus Wilnauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burkhard Ruge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolaus Wilnauer in the 29th minute of play. Titus Kunstwadl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Burkhard Ruge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikolaus Wilnauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Arental's Titus Kunstwadl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Burkhard Ruge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Titus Kunstwadl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Burkhard Ruge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Burkhard Ruge managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Arental's Titus Kunstwadl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Burkhard Ruge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolaus Wilnauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lovis Mahr kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Tanna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikolaus Wilnauer was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Erwin Grütters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erwin Grütters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Arental's goalkeeper Rochus Gall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ditmar Ehrmann. In the 67th minute Nikolaus Wilnauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burkhard Ruge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Titus Kunstwadl scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burkhard Ruge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Arental's Titus Kunstwadl in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Burkhard Ruge guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Arental's Titus Kunstwadl got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toni Reif placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Titus Kunstwadl struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Burkhard Ruge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arental.
