Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manfred Königshaus started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Andreowsky in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Dickhut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Lou Hauck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Dickhut came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Herlikofen FC's Peter Andreowsky. But to his dismay, Peter Andreowsky quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Josip Kemski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Dickhut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Bum-Kun Lindenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Albert Dickhut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josip Kemski in the 32nd minute of the match. Albert Dickhut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Andreowsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Molkenberg's Albert Dickhut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Andreowsky in the 42nd minute of play. In the 50th minute of the match Herlikofen FC got a corner. Molkenberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregorij Wank ran over to the corner to take the kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Andreowsky made a kick off. Sammy Rippert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Königshaus in the 55th minute of play. If Peter Andreowsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Molkenberg's zone, Josip Kemski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Dickhut came out of the goal and Josip Kemski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Molkenberg getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Frederik Zöllig hit a great ball. Herlikofen FC's Gregorij Wank couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Molkenberg. Albert Dickhut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Andreowsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Herlikofen FC's Torsten Leffek got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Peter Andreowsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Andreowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Dickhut having to interfere. 95 minutes in the game, Peter Andreowsky fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Albert Dickhut having to interfere. Josip Kemski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Albert Dickhut skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 99th minute, Frederik Zöllig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herlikofen FC played a much better game than Molkenberg and deserved their victory. The Molkenberg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
