The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rappo Ottmar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ohlenhard FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Rappo Ottmar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rochus Gall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rappo Ottmar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Rochus Gall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Arental booed when Ohlenhard FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Fazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Arental's Titus Kunstwadl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Werner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nikolaus Wilnauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Ohlenhard FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Titus Kunstwadl came free, but Tommy Werner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hinnerk Edewecht kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Rochus Gall made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Niels Dülberg sent off a good shot on target. Rochus Gall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rappo Ottmar in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Rappo Ottmar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ohlenhard FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rappo Ottmar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Arental's goal looked a bit too open when Rappo Ottmar came free, but Rochus Gall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rappo Ottmar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Ohlenhard FSV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 33rd match minute, Ohlenhard FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Sanger to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th match minute, Arental was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Husten to maneuver through the defense. Ohlenhard FSV's Niels Dülberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arental. A collision led to Ohlenhard FSV getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Konrad Wendt hit a great ball. Nikolaus Wilnauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Werner having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arental's goalkeeper Rochus Gall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ohlenhard FSV's zone, Nikolaus Wilnauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Werner came out of the goal and Nikolaus Wilnauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Titus Kunstwadl hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Titus Kunstwadl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rappo Ottmar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rochus Gall having to interfere. If Rappo Ottmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gretel Lindenthal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rochus Gall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Stuart Sanger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ohlenhard FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arental the free kick. Stuart Sanger hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Toni Reif, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Arental's Kai Boris Funkel got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tommy Werner acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Toni Reif. Arental's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
