The supporters of Odra Wodzisław Slaski booed when TSV 1906 Burkartshain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemens Wiertz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carsten Balzer hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Odra Wodzisław Slaski's Thiago Pernambucano got control of the ball when Asbjörn Lützen tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, TSV 1906 Burkartshain's Thiago Pernambucano threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matthias Babel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jakob Madjlessi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carsten Balzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TSV 1906 Burkartshain's Immanuel Koenecke shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Thiago Pernambucano but with some difficulty. Hassan Pecha lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 21st minute, one of Odra Wodzisław Slaski:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Odra Wodzisław Slaski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Splett got free with Thiago Pernambucano in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in TSV 1906 Burkartshain's zone, Dennis Goldmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Madjlessi came out of the goal and Dennis Goldmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steffen Splett in the 34th minute. Jakob Madjlessi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carsten Balzer in the 38th minute of the match. Thiago Pernambucano made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Steffen Splett sent off a good shot on target. Steffen Splett hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Gabriel Bergmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Odra Wodzisław Slaski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Balzer to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Bergmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Carsten Balzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dennis Goldmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jakob Madjlessi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carsten Balzer during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Odra Wodzisław Slaski's Carsten Balzer got a free kick in the 60th minute. Carsten Balzer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jakob Madjlessi having to make a save. Thiago Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Splett in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Clemens Wiertz mouthed his way into the referee's book. Odra Wodzisław Slaski were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
