Westermarscherloog FC's Egon Friedl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Krickel in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute Faruk Walter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Friedl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Schwarz Weiß Horn's Harry Röring got control of the ball when Marc Scharfscheer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Röring made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walther Alt in the 19th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Scharfscheer to strike the kick off in the second half. Walther Alt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Jürg Göldner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Schwarz Weiß Horn's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Scharfscheer came free, but Harry Röring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Friedl made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Faruk Walter sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Westermarscherloog FC's goalkeeper Egon Friedl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernst Krickel. Harry Röring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Scharfscheer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Westermarscherloog FC's Jonathan Erfurt got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Walther Alt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westermarscherloog FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Scharfscheer in the 95th minute of play forced Schwarz Weiß Horn's goalkeeper Harry Röring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Westermarscherloog FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
