After some careless play in the TSV 1906 Burkartshain defense, Paco Brenckmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakob Madjlessi. The TSV 1906 Burkartshain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakob Madjlessi should have stopped the shot. After having played for 14 minutes, Matthias Babel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV 1906 Burkartshain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Babel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Babel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Holder Zahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Paco Brenckmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Madjlessi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Babel struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Holder Zahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TSV 1906 Burkartshain. After 24 minutes of play, Dollnhof's Paco Brenckmann made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakob Madjlessi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Steffen Splett kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Holder Zahn. That made the score 1-2 in the 28 minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Dollnhof's Manuel Teiser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jakob Madjlessi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Steffen Splett was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Holder Zahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerd Drews in the 39th minute. Dollnhof's Holder Zahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Dollnhof from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, TSV 1906 Burkartshain's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Urban came free, but Jakob Madjlessi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dollnhof's Emil Hörbeld shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jakob Madjlessi but with some difficulty. TSV 1906 Burkartshain's Jakob Madjlessi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Brenckmann in the 63rd minute of play. Steffen Splett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holder Zahn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dollnhof's Emil Hörbeld got a free kick in the 66th minute. Holder Zahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Babel in the 70th minute of play. Holder Zahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Splett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Dollnhof got a freekick which was hit by Gernot Helpenstein. Holder Zahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffen Splett, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
