Spectators: 6630 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dennis Goldmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Holger Elzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Goldmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Lindner having to make a save. The supporters of Odra Wodzisław Slaski booed when Attenhausen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Elzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Odra Wodzisław Slaski's Carsten Balzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Lindner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Brett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Friedrich Boback came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Attenhausen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedrich Boback couldn't finish the play. Odra Wodzisław Slaski's Thiago Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Reitz in the 35th minute of play. In the 45th minute Dennis Goldmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Lindner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uwe Brett to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Uwe Brett took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Thiago Pernambucano to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Odra Wodzisław Slaski's Harald Czylwick got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Odra Wodzisław Slaski's zone, Uwe Brett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pernambucano came out of the goal and Uwe Brett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Dennis Goldmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odra Wodzisław Slaski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Goldmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Friedrich Boback who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pernambucano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Attenhausen FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Holger Elzer in the 79th minute. Thiago Pernambucano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Winfried Michels. Johannes Reitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uwe Brett got free with Thiago Pernambucano in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
