Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Simeon Adamek made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Die Löwen got a freekick which was hit by Albert Glieder. Mark Zilles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Aimo Konschal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brenschede FC's Udo Bokan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sascha Lichy in the 10th minute of play. Sascha Lichy succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Mark Zilles in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aimo Konschal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Udo Bokan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sascha Lichy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerd Solms hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Berthold Langer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aimo Konschal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mark Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aimo Konschal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simeon Adamek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Brenschede FC's Mark Zilles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aimo Konschal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sascha Lichy to strike the kick off in the second half. Helmuth Forst's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Udo Bokan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute, Simeon Adamek made a precise shot to the right of Aimo Konschal. Die Löwen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Simeon Adamek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aimo Konschal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimo Konschal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Adamek, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mark Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simeon Adamek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Udo Bokan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Helmuth Forst went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helmuth Forst got free with Udo Bokan in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mark Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Zilles in the 81st minute of play forced Die Löwen's goalkeeper Aimo Konschal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Die Löwen's zone, Simeon Adamek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimo Konschal came out of the goal and Simeon Adamek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernhard Friedrich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simeon Adamek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helmuth Forst struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Udo Bokan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Die Löwen. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brenschede FC had won after a very even match.
