Dierk Adorno hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Zilles in the 18th minute of play forced Edoburg's goalkeeper Gunter Knoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Zilles struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gunter Knoll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brenschede FC. 22 minutes into the match, Brenschede FC's Simeon Adamek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunter Knoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simeon Adamek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fritz Ernst Nimz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Edoburg defense, Mark Zilles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunter Knoll. The Edoburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunter Knoll should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Zilles in the 44th minute of play forced Edoburg's goalkeeper Gunter Knoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunter Knoll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Zilles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Simeon Adamek kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 58th minute Simeon Adamek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Knoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simeon Adamek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. A hard shot 96 in the game by Mark Zilles from a close distance when the talented Gunter Knoll managed to make a qualified save. Edoburg's players were relieved. The Edoburg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brenschede FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Brenschede FC.
