Fordingbridge Turks FC's Timo Lenke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Toll in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Fordingbridge Turks FC's goalkeeper Timo Lenke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hanns Gronau. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harald Toll was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bohmterheide FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Harald Toll hit a great ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fordingbridge Turks FC's goalkeeper Timo Lenke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timo Lenke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanns Gronau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fordingbridge Turks FC's Timo Lenke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanns Gronau in the 59th minute of play. Timo Lenke came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Bohmterheide FC's Harald Toll. But to his dismay, Harald Toll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Toll in the 64th minute of play forced Fordingbridge Turks FC's goalkeeper Timo Lenke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hardy Hensel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Santelmann in the 67th minute. After 71 minutes, Harald Toll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bohmterheide FC and the Fordingbridge Turks FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bohmterheide FC's Harald Toll got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Ted Santelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Hubertus Schön hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Hanns Gronau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timo Lenke was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ted Santelmann walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Hubertus Schön fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timo Lenke having to interfere. Ted Santelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timo Lenke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Toll in the 96th minute of play. Fordingbridge Turks FC's Timo Lenke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Riedel in the 97th minute of play. Fordingbridge Turks FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
