Ted Santelmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Nobs having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Ted Santelmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Günther Rehmer put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Timo Lenke. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Santelmann in the 24th minute of play forced Höhbeck FSV's goalkeeper Claus Nobs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Fordingbridge Turks FC's Silvester Paasch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claus Nobs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Diego Wimmer made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Heiner Schwarz immediately put the ball in play. One of Fordingbridge Turks FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Höhbeck FSV:s goal. The goalkeeper, Timo Lenke, was totally fooled by Höhbeck FSV's Steffen Kalthoff, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
