An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Walde in the 3rd minute of play forced Edoburg's goalkeeper Gunter Knoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes Edoburg got a freekick which was hit by Max Lütke. Frederik Walde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edoburg's Gunter Knoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Walde in the 10th minute of play. Gunter Knoll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Georg Bartels in the 14th minute. Gunter Knoll was a little too slow when Frederik Walde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Karl-Georg Bartels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gunter Knoll made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Edoburg's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Walde came free, but Gunter Knoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfhard Hannemann made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Edoburg's Eckard Mahler. 42 minutes into the match, Edoburg's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Walde came free, but Gunter Knoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Karl-Georg Bartels's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunter Knoll was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Georg Bartels in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunter Knoll saved Edoburg from getting behind. Karl-Georg Bartels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gunter Knoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik Walde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunter Knoll having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Frederik Walde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunter Knoll. Edoburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederik Walde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Donny Jüngling managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gerolstein's supporters rose to their feet, but Donny Jüngling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunter Knoll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederik Walde scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunter Knoll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gunter Knoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Georg Bartels in the 88th minute of the match. When FC Gerolstein's Karl-Georg Bartels in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Gerolstein had won after a very even match.
