Pütterhöfe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bohmterheide FC the free kick. The supporters of Bohmterheide FC booed when Pütterhöfe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Mann didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Zoran Gross managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Bohmterheide FC's Harald Toll fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Pütterhöfe's Zoran Gross got control of the ball when Hanns Gronau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hanns Gronau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Zoran Gross made a huge save. Wolf-Dieter Wölfer's late challenge caught a Bohmterheide FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolf-Dieter Wölfer helped the player get up and apologised.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joscha Sieg to strike the kick off in the second half. Sylvio Scheepers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hardy Hensel made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Pütterhöfe's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Toll came free, but Zoran Gross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Joscha Sieg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bohmterheide FC's Hardy Hensel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bohmterheide FC's Leon Riedel got a free kick in the 87th minute.
