Detlef Mohs charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Detlef Mohs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maiko Schreiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dierk Adorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okke Jastrzembowski having to interfere. Eckard Mahler kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Eckard Mahler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Okke Jastrzembowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Raphael Wuttke made a precise shot to the right of Okke Jastrzembowski. USAK SPOR 1979's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. USAK SPOR 1979's Markus Melcher got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes USAK SPOR 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Axel Binding. 46 minutes into the match, Edoburg's goalkeeper Gunter Knoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Melcher.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burt Klösters to strike the kick off in the second half. When Raphael Wuttke came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Edoburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Wuttke couldn't finish the play. Gunter Knoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Melcher in the 58th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, USAK SPOR 1979's Burt Klösters made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunter Knoll was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Melcher in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunter Knoll saved Edoburg from getting behind. Burt Klösters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gunter Knoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Melcher in the 79th minute of play forced Edoburg's goalkeeper Gunter Knoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Edoburg's goal looked a bit too open when Burt Klösters came free, but Gunter Knoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Eckard Mahler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Markus Melcher came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the USAK SPOR 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Melcher couldn't finish the play. Eckard Mahler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, USAK SPOR 1979's Markus Melcher got a free kick in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. USAK SPOR 1979 had won after a very even match.
