In the 14th minute Elvis Olyschläger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredy Grobmaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredy Grobmaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabor Della, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Gabor Della came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Stolpshof FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabor Della couldn't finish the play. Attila Reifmann hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The 1 FC Argentinos fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when 1 FC Argentinos's Jakob Richstein looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Stolpshof FSV defense, Jakob Richstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ullrich Kahn. The Stolpshof FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ullrich Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Jakob Richstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Joosten got free with Ullrich Kahn in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvis Olyschläger struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Fredy Grobmaul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stolpshof FSV. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ullrich Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Joosten's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jakob Richstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ullrich Kahn having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Stolpshof FSV's Elvis Olyschläger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredy Grobmaul narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gabor Della had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 1 FC Argentinos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stolpshof FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
