Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ilja Staudenhöchte got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Unterreit's Ilja Staudenhöchte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Unterreit's zone, Wolf-Dieter Ruck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willibald Grassow came out of the goal and Wolf-Dieter Ruck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Ilja Staudenhöchte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wolf-Dieter Ruck in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willibald Grassow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Coldemüntje getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rick Hörnschemeyer hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Josef Krause got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wolf-Dieter Ruck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Willibald Grassow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Josef Krause managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coldemüntje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Krause was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willibald Grassow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Hörnschemeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coldemüntje's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moritz Kornmeier in the 50th minute. Moritz Kornmeier made a great header on Coldemüntje's corner, it was just that Unterreit's Willibald Grassow managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Krause was the one to do the kick off. Welf Krasselt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilja Staudenhöchte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolf-Dieter Ruck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Willibald Grassow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Michael Elser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unterreit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coldemüntje the free kick. After a rather tough play, Unterreit's Michael Elser got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Wolf-Dieter Ruck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolf-Dieter Ruck was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Coldemüntje defense, Torsten Hörnle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Welf Krasselt. The Coldemüntje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Welf Krasselt should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Coldemüntje booed when Unterreit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Winkelsett didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Coldemüntje's goal looked a bit too open when Ilja Staudenhöchte came free, but Welf Krasselt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf-Dieter Ruck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Umberto Mühlhäußer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Krause in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willibald Grassow saved Unterreit from getting behind. Welf Krasselt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilja Staudenhöchte in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wolf-Dieter Ruck got free with Willibald Grassow in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Welf Krasselt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilja Staudenhöchte went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Unterreit were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Coldemüntje for a fine match.
