Delfim de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Lautwein in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Lautwein in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim de Sousa saved Lehenwies from getting behind. With a little luck, Kerpen's Eppo Czwenk got control of the ball when Ernst Siemienski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Sobieray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eppo Czwenk having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Emanuel Sobieray made the kick off in the second half. Ernst Siemienski hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lehenwies were victorious despite being under pressure from Kerpen for much of the match.
