Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thies Reck made the kick off which started today's match. Alex Schröder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Deinbeck in the 4th minute of the match. Harald Deinbeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Schröder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Alex Schröder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thies Reck, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Bad Schussenried's Harald Deinbeck made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Schröder was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Leumnitz FSV booed when Bad Schussenried was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Wille didn't get a good kick on the ball. Femke Thieme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thies Reck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alex Schröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rochus Hovermann came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Leumnitz FSV's Ben Trepoll. But to his dismay, Ben Trepoll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 39 minutes of play, Leumnitz FSV's Gerd Hähnel made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rochus Hovermann was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Harald Deinbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben Trepoll stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Bilharz during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bad Schussenried's Eduard Bilharz got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bad Schussenried's goalkeeper Rochus Hovermann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ben Trepoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Thies Reck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Schröder. The goal made the score 3-3. After 78 played minutes Leumnitz FSV got a freekick which was hit by Henning Fritz. In the 84th minute of the match Marco Neubrandt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rochus Hovermann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes in the game, Harald Deinbeck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alex Schröder having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Harald Deinbeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bad Schussenried fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Bad Schussenried's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
