Valerian Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Glatzer in the 17th minute of play. Cornelis Stotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Posch having to interfere. After 21 played minutes FC Dag Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Beushausen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Glatzer in the 25th minute of play forced Hultrop's goalkeeper Valerian Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Moock during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Hultrop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Moock to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corvinus Ruthus made a kick off. The supporters of Hultrop booed when FC Dag Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Dehne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelis Stotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Posch having to interfere. After 63 played minutes FC Dag Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Beushausen. During the 65th minute of the match Mark Moock completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mark Moock a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hultrop's Valerian Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Straal in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Olaf Glatzer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valerian Nowak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cornelis Stotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelis Stotz took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moritz Posch. Moritz Posch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, FC Dag Barcelona's Edgar Werlich got a free kick in the 86th minute. Hultrop's Valerian Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Straal in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Bert Fiedler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valerian Nowak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Glatzer in the 90th minute. Valerian Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Straal in the 92nd minute of the match. Leon Straal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valerian Nowak having to interfere. Olaf Glatzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Dag Barcelona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
