An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Krause in the 31st minute of play forced Bad Schussenried's goalkeeper Rochus Hovermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Wilken Flad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bad Schussenried's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice moves Harald Deinbeck could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Welf Krasselt however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Thies Reck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bad Schussenried's supporters rose to their feet, but Thies Reck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Welf Krasselt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, Harald Deinbeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Welf Krasselt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harald Deinbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
