Eduard Bilharz hit a great ball. Kampe's Felipe Schoel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Thies Reck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Elzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efraim Elzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Watzek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Schoel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kampe booed when Bad Schussenried was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folker Achterbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Aigner kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Raik Lützen struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rochus Hovermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kampe. Palle Busch might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rochus Hovermann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Palle Busch ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Raik Lützen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kampe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kampe! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the game, Werner Bäuerle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bad Schussenried's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kampe the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bad Schussenried fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Bad Schussenried:s Rochus Hovermann showed great skill when he stopped Hanns Wehlmann:s penalty. Rochus Hovermann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raik Lützen's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Kampe's Palle Busch got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kampe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Wille was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kampe's Felipe Schoel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Bad Schussenried's Harald Deinbeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efraim Elzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 99 minutes into the match, Kampe's goal looked a bit too open when Thies Reck came free, but Efraim Elzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
