Hasso Wochele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benno Huermann in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Kiefert saved Go Go Busters from getting behind. If Benno Huermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Biermann kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Elterlein got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Krafft. Benno Huermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Kiefert having to interfere. Benno Huermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Arne Kiefert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benno Huermann in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Kiefert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Go Go Busters's Arne Kiefert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Huermann in the 67th minute of play. Benno Huermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arne Kiefert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Kiefert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benno Huermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
