Dariusz Dietrich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Breche having to make a save. Yalova SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raiko Schott in the 10th minute. Kurt Malborn's late challenge caught a Yalova SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Malborn helped the player get up and apologised. Kurt Malborn kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Toralf Polster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Kiefert having to interfere. Arne Kiefert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toralf Polster in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Toralf Polster made a precise shot to the right of Arne Kiefert. Go Go Busters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 29 minutes, Erik Brand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalova SK and the Go Go Busters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Yalova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Brand to maneuver through the defense. Lars Adamek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Breche. Yalova SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Go Go Busters getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Antti Götze hit a great ball. After 36 minutes, Julius Mann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalova SK and the Go Go Busters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Yalova SK got a freekick which was hit by Julius Mann. Toralf Polster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arne Kiefert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toralf Polster went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jindrich Hauk was the one to do the kick off. Yalova SK's Toralf Polster got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Jörn Jagnow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jindrich Hauk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anton Hipp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dariusz Dietrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yalova SK's Julius Mann got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Julius Mann off the ground. In the 85th match minute, Yalova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Mann to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute of the match Jaro Hübner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Breche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gil Breche made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Dariusz Dietrich sent off a good shot on target. Gil Breche came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Go Go Busters's Dariusz Dietrich. But to his dismay, Dariusz Dietrich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Go Go Busters's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
