After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Benno Huermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elterlein's supporters rose to their feet, but Benno Huermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dietrich Franken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heringskoop FC's Dietrich Franken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Huermann in the 18th minute of play. Heringskoop FC's Ansbert Ramsauer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hugo Kalitta but with some difficulty. After 22 played minutes Elterlein got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Carlsen. If Bastian Krafft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elterlein's Hugo Kalitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Kaiwesch in the 36th minute of play. When Elterlein's Benno Huermann in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The nice shot from Hasso Wochele in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dietrich Franken had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Hasso Wochele struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dietrich Franken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elterlein. Jacob Terstappen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hugo Kalitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Kaiwesch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Heringskoop FC booed when Elterlein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasso Wochele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elterlein! Luis Kaiwesch might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Kalitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Kaiwesch ran back to his position shaking his head. Bastian Krafft kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Hugo Kalitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole Borgwardt in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Elterlein getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Norbert Nooke hit a great ball. Luis Kaiwesch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hugo Kalitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Heringskoop FC's Luis Kaiwesch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Kalitta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Elterlein getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Tim Maaßen hit a great ball.
