Spectators: 7368 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jindrich Hauk started the match with the kick off. After 10 played minutes Elterlein got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Carlsen. Bastian Krafft kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Raiko Schott was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 21st minute of the match Tim Maaßen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Breche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hasso Wochele took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Breche. Gil Breche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benno Huermann in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Breche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, Elterlein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benno Huermann to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Yalova SK's goal looked a bit too open when Benno Huermann came free, but Gil Breche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Benno Huermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Breche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Yalova SK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Hipp. Gil Breche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Carlsen in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benno Huermann to strike the kick off in the second half. If Benno Huermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Yalova SK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Hipp. Benno Huermann's late challenge caught a Yalova SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benno Huermann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Elterlein getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Benno Huermann hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Klemens Exner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Kalitta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benno Huermann might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Breche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benno Huermann ran back to his position shaking his head. Toralf Polster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hasso Wochele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasso Wochele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gil Breche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Julius Mann fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yalova SK's protests and gave Julius Mann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Yalova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Mann to maneuver through the defense. Hasso Wochele's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Gil Breche skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hasso Wochele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gil Breche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yalova SK's Gil Breche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Huermann in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yalova SK's Freerk Buch got a free kick in the 95th minute. Elterlein's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
