Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Köper's Adam Schock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Claus Zebrowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Köper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bayern München the free kick. After 4 played minutes Köper got a freekick which was hit by Claus Zebrowski. After recieving a nice pass, FC Bayern München's Florian Zabel tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aydin Binninger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Frank in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Böhm saved Köper from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Florian Zabel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Viktor Böhm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Köper's Michael Ahlf got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lothar Gaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Schock, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Esau Frenzle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lothar Gaul having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Frank in the 32nd minute of play forced Köper's goalkeeper Viktor Böhm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Böhm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Frank in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Lahann during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aydin Binninger took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Böhm. Viktor Böhm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Köper players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Bayern München were winning 0-1.

After some careless play in the FC Bayern München defense, Adam Schock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lothar Gaul. The FC Bayern München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lothar Gaul should have stopped the shot. Viktor Böhm didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Viktor Böhm made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Aydin Binninger sent off a good shot on target. Danny Frank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Böhm having to interfere. When Adam Schock fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köper's protests and gave Adam Schock a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Schock kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Esau Frenzle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Köper getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Claus Zebrowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Frank in the 83rd minute of play forced Köper's goalkeeper Viktor Böhm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Böhm made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Aydin Binninger sent off a good shot on target. Köper's Viktor Böhm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Frank in the 87th minute of play. Lothar Gaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esau Frenzle, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Aydin Binninger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Böhm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aydin Binninger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bayern München's supporters rose to their feet, but Aydin Binninger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Böhm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
