Daniel Hein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Viktor Böhm made a huge save. If Daniel Hein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wolf Arendt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köper's Viktor Böhm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Köper booed when Holtland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willibert Webel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Esau Frenzle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köper's supporters rose to their feet, but Esau Frenzle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Hitzing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esau Frenzle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Esau Frenzle in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 43 played minutes Holtland got a freekick which was hit by Willibert Webel. Esau Frenzle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes, Adam Schock made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Holtland's Benjamin Hitzing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Köper were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Schock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viktor Böhm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolf Arendt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holtland's Benjamin Hitzing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Holtland from getting a goal against them. When Adam Schock fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köper's protests and gave Adam Schock a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Köper's Adam Schock got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Daniel Hein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esau Frenzle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Hitzing when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
