Hanjo Jacobs was a little too slow when Ulli Rackstein got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Sören Christner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nirvana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rappoltskirchen FSV the free kick. A collision led to Nirvana FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sören Christner hit a great ball. Rafael Strauß shot from long distance in the 16th minute, but Hanjo Jacobs was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 17th minute Gottfried Wendt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Elsässer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rayk Reutter struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hanjo Jacobs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rappoltskirchen FSV. Max Bismarck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Werner Elsässer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Bismarck got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Werner Elsässer handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Nirvana FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Joachim Koziol hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Ulli Rackstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hanjo Jacobs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulli Rackstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. One of Nirvana FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rappoltskirchen FSV:s goal. Rafael Strauß shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Rayk Reutter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hanjo Jacobs having to make a save. Hanjo Jacobs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulli Rackstein in the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nirvana FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Strauß was slow to take the kick. During this time Rappoltskirchen FSV's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nirvana FC's goalie and right to Florian Friedrich. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nirvana FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Bismarck to make the kick off. Rayk Reutter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hanjo Jacobs having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulli Rackstein in the 57th minute of play forced Nirvana FC's goalkeeper Hanjo Jacobs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulli Rackstein scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hanjo Jacobs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Nirvana FC booed when Rappoltskirchen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Martin Fitzenreiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ulli Rackstein notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Nirvana FC's Hanjo Jacobs. Hanjo Jacobs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Ulli Rackstein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hanjo Jacobs. Nirvana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulli Rackstein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rayk Reutter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulli Rackstein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hanjo Jacobs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Bismarck in the 78th minute of play forced Rappoltskirchen FSV's goalkeeper Werner Elsässer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Rappoltskirchen FSV's Rayk Reutter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hanjo Jacobs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Nirvana FC defense, Rayk Reutter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hanjo Jacobs. The Nirvana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hanjo Jacobs should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rappoltskirchen FSV fully deserved thier win.
