Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Balthasar Schwehr started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Behling in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Liebig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Borussia Mönchengladbach's Mark Behling in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raubling's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Mark Behling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raubling's Nicolas Liebig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Balthasar Schwehr took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jörg Gabriel to make any attempt to save it. Nicolas Liebig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Behling's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Raubling's zone, Mark Behling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Liebig came out of the goal and Mark Behling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmus Frowerk charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmus Frowerk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Borussia Mönchengladbach getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Erasmus Frowerk hit a great ball. Nicolas Liebig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Behling in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Rainer Innerwinkler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Mönchengladbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rainer Innerwinkler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Liebig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Behling in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Liebig saved Raubling from getting behind. Borussia Mönchengladbach's Jörg Gabriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirko Strachowitz in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Brian Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörg Gabriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörg Gabriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balthasar Schwehr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Behling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Liebig having to interfere. After some careless play in the Borussia Mönchengladbach defense, Mirko Strachowitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörg Gabriel. The Borussia Mönchengladbach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörg Gabriel should have stopped the shot.
