When Julius Bovenschen fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plottendorf's protests and gave Julius Bovenschen a yellow card for diving instead. Julius Bovenschen kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Drago Buchner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Feierabend in the 17th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, one of PUMUCKL Kickers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Plottendorf's zone, Eggert Hilligloh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karlo Reiner came out of the goal and Eggert Hilligloh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drago Buchner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Feierabend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Plottendorf's Amerigo Blacha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Drago Buchner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Amerigo Blacha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The PUMUCKL Kickers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Plottendorf were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Schönbucher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marvin Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marvin Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PUMUCKL Kickers booed when Plottendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drago Buchner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Feierabend in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Blacha in the 75th minute of play forced PUMUCKL Kickers's goalkeeper Drago Buchner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drago Buchner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Feierabend in the 77th minute.
