The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Ballkünstler SV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tomsi:s goal. The referee gave Tomsi a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gunnar Thumerer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ballkünstler SV's Jukka Rausch. 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Ballkünstler SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Wochele to maneuver through the defense. The Tomsi fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Tomsi's Rupert Nimako looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Gismund Amberger fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballkünstler SV's protests and gave Gismund Amberger a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the game, one of Ballkünstler SV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Tomsi. Gunnar Thumerer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jukka Rausch. 0-3. In the 35thth minute of the game Gottfried Jochimsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballkünstler SV's Jukka Rausch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nico Gunawan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Volker Räder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Swiatek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Volker Räder made a huge save. After the first half Tomsi were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Viktor Beimler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Rausch having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Gismund Amberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Beimlers short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Jukka Rausch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Viktor Beimler could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Jukka Rausch however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Viktor Beimler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Beimler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jukka Rausch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Beimler kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ballkünstler SV's keeper Jukka Rausch was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Nico Gunawan might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volker Räder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico Gunawan ran back to his position shaking his head. Klement Höfner kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Viktor Beimler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gottfried Jochimsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Rausch having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Nico Gunawan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballkünstler SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Tomsi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
