The shot was a little too simple and Lars Oliver Vüllings could save by the left post. Conrad Sitzmann hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Matetzki during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Kürnach FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Matetzki. In the 44thth minute of the game Dennis Dumberger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Goodbye's Adam Yost was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Goodbye getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Florenz Schur hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dennis Dumberger made the kick off in the second half. If Dennis Dumberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrad Sitzmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Adam Yost made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uri Kurth in the 63rd minute of play forced Kürnach FC's goalkeeper Lars Oliver Vüllings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folko Stober recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 minutes of play, SC Goodbye's Folko Stober made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Oliver Vüllings was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Conrad Sitzmann notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SC Goodbye's Adam Yost. Adam Yost was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Yost was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dennis Dumberger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, SC Goodbye's Uri Kurth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Oliver Vüllings made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The SC Goodbye manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Kürnach FC to win.
