With a little luck, Tomsi's Volker Räder got control of the ball when Robin Mussauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tomsi's Rupert Nimako in 8 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fabian Fehr guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Rupert Nimako came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Tomsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Nimako couldn't finish the play. Björn Schaede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Räder having to interfere. Björn Schaede's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volker Räder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Rainer Laudan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eutscheid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomsi the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Rainer Laudan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gottfried Jochimsen during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gottfried Jochimsen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ingo Vogelsänger, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Nimako in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Fehr saved Eutscheid from getting behind. Rupert Nimako recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Robin Mussauer could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Volker Räder however easily saved by the left post. If Björn Schaede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rupert Nimako made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Björn Schaede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Volker Räder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Björn Schaede's late challenge caught a Tomsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Schaede helped the player get up and apologised. If Viktor Beimler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes in the game, Rupert Nimako fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabian Fehr having to interfere. Tomsi's attack was well implemented in the 69th minute, but when Viktor Beimler was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of Eutscheid booed when Tomsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfried Jochimsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klement Höfner kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Viktor Beimler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alessio Reitenauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Eutscheid getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Maurizio Geier hit a great ball. Eutscheid's Fabian Fehr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Nimako in the 93rd minute of play. Viktor Beimler hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Eutscheid support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
