Seating: 1046, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herbert Felber started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Mies hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Trier's zone, Forusan Meinhardt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Drobinski came out of the goal and Forusan Meinhardt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Drobinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Felber in the 9th minute of play. When Rudolf Gielnik fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eintracht Trier's protests and gave Rudolf Gielnik a yellow card for diving instead. Montgomery Bleck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Drobinski. Eintracht Trier's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alexander Drobinski came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by BV Grün-Weiß Holt's Forusan Meinhardt. But to his dismay, Forusan Meinhardt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Ronaldinho Schikaneder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Drobinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Felber, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alexander Drobinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Felber in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Eintracht Trier's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Felber came free, but Alexander Drobinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When David Stöwer fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eintracht Trier's protests and gave David Stöwer a yellow card for diving instead. David Stöwer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. David Stöwer was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th minute of the match Montgomery Bleck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Drobinski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Torsten Lachmann made the kick off in the second half. Torsten Lachmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Theobald Weinberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes BV Grün-Weiß Holt got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Repplinger. In the 63rd minute, Gabriel Mies made a precise shot to the right of Theobald Weinberg. BV Grün-Weiß Holt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alexander Drobinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Forusan Meinhardt in the 67th minute. Alexander Drobinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Felber, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Alexander Drobinski made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Forusan Meinhardt sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes, Gregor Bussler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eintracht Trier and the BV Grün-Weiß Holt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Eintracht Trier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Bussler to maneuver through the defense. Ottmar Biedma lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 92 minutes into the game, one of Eintracht Trier:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BV Grün-Weiß Holt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
